Plough Lane, Wallington originally divided the two World War One aerodromes. When work began to enlarge the airport in 1926, a large section of the road was permanently closed off in 1927 and replaced with a new road named Foresters Drive. The north section is now known as Mollison Drive with part of the southern section still retaining its original name.
